As you know, the Biden administration’s Department of Education new Title IX rules regarding sex-based harassment, anti-LGBTQI+ discrimination, and discrimination against pregnant and parenting students have been in effect since August 1, 2024 in states and schools where there is not an applicable injunction.
The National Women’s Law Center has created a new detailed explainer on the Biden rule as part of our collection of resources to help students, educators, and advocates navigate this complex rule:
